Cyclone, The Barb Wire Horse

Well, my dad and I spent about 5 hours on Friday going through every floor and every single exhibit of the Glenbow Museum here in downtown Calgary, something we had not done for a few years!

This particular display was an homage to the famous (infamous?) horse Cyclone, who gained fame in the 1912 Calgary Stampede by bucking an unprecedented 129 riders before someone was finally able to tame him!

This sculpture is made entirely out of strands of barb wire, and is even more impressive in person, rearing up to a good height above our heads!
