Astronomical clock, Wimborne Minster, Dorset

This famous clock in the west tower is said to have been made about 1320. The clock has a 24 hour dial with the sun in the outer circle representing the hour 'hand'. The moon in the middle circle marks the phase of the lunar month and the earth is fixed in the centre.
