Fluorite crystal mass containing water

The unusual amount of water seen in these fluorite crystals may be associated with the remarkable disulphide fluorescence that they exhibit. Some - but not all - other fluorite crystals I have examined show evidence for tiny amounts of water - a factor of ten or so less than this specimen. The wavelengths of the bands, which are slightly longer than than from pure water at atmospheric pressure, may be suggesting that the water is present in high pressure liquid inclusions [is this true? I see conflicting evidence in the literature].

From the size and mass of this crystal and the measured water absorption, I estimate that the water content is 0.10% by mass.
