Transparent coloured spheres
Five aligned trnsparent spheres refract and reflect the light from a window.
These are 'hydro beads' - Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP) beads made from polyacrylate, that absorb several hundred times their own weight of water. They swell to form transparent spheres that look like marbles but have a bouncy, gel-like feel. By soaking them in coloured water, the beads can be made to take on a range of different colours.
