Apatite, yellow, images and spectra

Orange fluorescence in yellow apatite excited by blue (404nm) laser light (orange line spectrum). The transmission spectrum is also shown (blue line).

The two images show the crystal being illuminated by the laser beam from the top right. The left image is pure fluorescence. The right image is illuminated also by white light to show the colour of the crystal.
