In March of this year, a former housemate, who has been breeding roses in Oregon for the last few years, was kind enough to send me a bunch of his "culls" (those are the experimental hybrids that for one reasons or another are not useful to the hybridiser). To give a sense of scale, this entire arrangement end to end was about 4" / 10 cm across.
