Frederick McCoy: Natural History of Victoria (1885)

McCoy established and directed the National Museum of Natural History and Geology in Melbourne. This plate of the Green and Golden Bell Frog illustrates McCoy's interest in documenting natural history and presenting it in a way that is both scientifically correct and visually fascinating.
