Crinoid Columnal
A very common fossil. This is one disk of many that make up the stalk on a crinoid or sea lily.When they die the little disks are usually scattered about and are found as fossils a lot more often than are intact sea lilies.
This one is from the Ames limestone in Monroeville PA.
