Rainbow on Mount Strachan
The summit of Mount Strachan was encircled by a solid grey cloud curtain with no visibility anywhere. The clouds overhead started to break gradually gaving way to rays of sunshine. Peering down into the steep canyon revealed the presence of this wonderful circular rainbow set on a background of grey cloud with a secondary rainbow aura surrounding it. My image is visible within the rainbow.
The phenomenum is technically known as a Brocken spectre, Brocken bow, or mountain spectre.
