Mammatus Clouds (1973)

Also known as "mammatocumulus clouds" (meaning "bumpy clouds"), mammatus clouds are usually associated with very strong storms, including tornadoes.

This photograph was taken in Tulsa, Oklahoma on 2 June 1973.
