Capped Column down the C-axis

Here is another capped column snowflake but this time it is orientated so that we are looking down the C-axis (where there is no optical activity).
In order to image this snowflake I had to de-tune the crossed polarizers to allow enough light through to even see this crystal. you can make out a little color on a few of the prismatic faces on the bottom of the crystal.
For 3D, use cross-eye method.
