Column snowflake in 3D
This one is a little harder to form a good 3D image. I used the same amount of rotation as I do when working with the flatter plate flakes but because of the crystals geometry, relative to a flat guys, refraction bends the light to a greater extent. When you finally get it to pop I does provide an interesting glimpse into this seldom seen bit of nature.
